Celebration July 26, 2008

Thanks to all who attended our celebration.  The pictures tell the story. The most unusual (and a first for the WRW) was an alligator.  This was most likely a pet someone could no longer take care of.  The conservation officer was called and the alligator was taken to the Night Stalker pet store for treatment and rehabilitation. It will not be released into the wild. (At this time I do not have pictures, but will receive them in the near future.  Once I receive them, they can be placed on the web.) Please think carefully and weigh all responsibilities before choosing an exotic animal for a pet. Below are some of the pictures taken.  If you have more pictures you would like to add feel free to e-mail us.  Selection and addition of pictures to this website will be done at the discretion of the White River Watchers.

Enjoy the slide show and we will see you next year for our June and September clean-ups tentatively scheduled for the second Saturday of the month.
